MPA participated in the Math Counts chapter competition on February 9th. Individually, Colton G. earned 2nd place and John B. earned 6th place, out of almost 80 participants. The team (Colton, John, Lisa H., and Greta G.) earned 1st place, qualifying to participate in the state Math Counts competition on March 15th. Participating as alternates were Matt C., Matt D., Connor O., and Mason M.. This is the eighth time in 12 years that MPA has sent students to the state competition (four teams, four individuals).
