Eleven new grant recipients were announced last week when the MPA Parent Association (PA) made final decisions for the second cycle of grants for the 2007-2008 school year. Over $15,000 in grants were awarded this cycle with proposals ranging from a computer music lab to roller skis to a solar panel system. All divisions and a cross-section of specialties were represented in this cycle, which focused on projects that support this year's grant theme of the "Spirit of Innovation."
