PE Department Invites Parents on April 3rd and 4th

We would like to invite all parents or guardians of Kindergarten through 6th graders to join your son or daughter in their "pursuit of excellence" in our annual spring obstacle course in PE class! We request your active presence during your child's PE class on either Thursday, April 3rd or Friday, April 4th. Kindergarten through 4th graders have a 30-minute class, and 5th and 6th graders have a 60-minute class.

PE classes for those two days are scheduled as follows:

6th grade, block 1 (*Thursday and Friday) 8:40-9:40 a.m.

* Check with your son/daughter to see which day they have PE class

5th grade, block 2 (Friday only) 9:55-10:55 a.m.

3rd grade, 11:10-11:40 a.m.

4th grade, 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

1st grade, 1:25-1:55 p.m.

Kindergarten, 1:55-2:25 p.m.

2nd grade, 2:30-3:00 p.m.

The course includes hurdles, agility run, wall crawl, tunnel run, belly crawl, mat climb, rope swing and scooter pull, all combined into one activity. All activities are safe, age-appropriate, challenging and fun!

You have the opportunity to race against your child if you like. We believe the kids will be thrilled to teach you the course and show you how capable they are at completing it. You are welcome to come during their class time and observe from the upper track area if you choose not to participate. To participate, you'll need gym shoes and clothes that allow movement. We'll have our team locker rooms (just off the Lansing gym area) open those days for you to change in.
