Melenie Soucheray has been hired to serve as Director of Strategic Marketing and Institutional Advancement. The position combines oversight of all marketing and communications while coordinating efforts with the offices of Admission and Development.

Melanie has had a rich and varied career in public relations, marketing and communications. She has held marketing, communications and public relations positions for such organizations as the College of St. Catherine (1985-90), the Minnesota Hospital Association (1993-2000), the Minnesota Private College Council (2000-2004), and more recently for the Children's Home Society and Family Services. She also served as press secretary for US Senator Dave Durenberger (1990-1993) and was Director of Communications for Independence Party gubernatorial candidate Peter Hutchinson from 2005-2006. She holds a B.A. from Creighton University and an M.A. from Georgetown University. Please welcome Melenie Soucheray to the MPA community.
