Karee-JuVette.jpgKaree JuVette reaches 1,000 points in career!  Senior Karee JuVette scored 23 points Tuesday night to bring her career points total to 1,016.  Karee becomes the 1st girl in MPA history to achieve this milestone.  Congratulations Karee!

Lansing Sports Center Open Saturday Mornings

Thumbnail image for Pantherclaw.jpgThe Lansing Sports Center will be open Saturday mornings to MPA families and their friends from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon January 10th through February 28th.  You are welcome to come and use the track and sports center.  If you have any questions, please contact the Athletic Office at 651-748-5630.

Dan Ethier Coach of the Year

Congratulations to coach Dan Ethier for being selected Boys' Cross Country Section 4A Coach of the Year!  The Boys' Cross Country team is currently ranked 3rd in the State and will be competing in the State meet this coming Saturday, November 1st at St. Olaf.

Girls' State Tennis

This past weekend, Amber Washington and Kate Roach won the State doubles championship.  Brenna Kelly lost a tough semi-final match before defeating her next opponent to place third at State! 

Spirit Store - Hours and New Items

Cross Country going to State

CC2008 State Participantsforweb.pngCongratulations on the Boys' Cross Country team making it to the State Meet for the first time in MPA history!  Pete Simpson, Nate Roese, Nate Bander & Mason Ferlic were among the top 12 finishers to lead the way for the Panthers.  Kris Bourne finished 7th in the girls' race to also qualify for the State Meet on November 1st at St. Olaf College.

Girls' Varsity Tennis finish 2nd at State

Girls VarsityTennis StateChampions.pngGirls' Varsity Tennis lost a close match to Rochester Lourdes 3-4 to finish 2nd in the State Tournament Thursday, October 23rd.  Congratulations girls!

Boys' Varsity Soccer State Tournament

Boys Varsity final game.pngBoys' Varsity Soccer was defeated October 22nd by Totino Grace HS in a very well-played game that wrapped up a great season for the team.

Varsity Volleyball Sets MPA Win Record

Girls' Varsity Volleyball won two games on October 4th at the Heritage Tournament to bring their total number of wins this season to 15!  This breaks MPA's record of 13 total wins set back in 1999.  Way to go girls!

Boys' Varsity Cross Country wins Milaca Invitational

Boys-Milaca-Invite.jpgThe Boys' Cross Country team won the Class A Varsity race at the Milaca Invitational on Saturday, September 20th.  This is the first time an MPA Cross Country team has ever won a major invitational Cross Country Meet!  They won decisively with just 29 points (low score wins in cross country).  The 2nd place team had 80 points.
