Welcome To MPA MPA Home

Faculty

MPA has a select group of educators who are among the most interesting and inspiring instructors you will find. But more importantly, they are people who care deeply about the development and well being of our children. From the early grades on through graduation, these gifted teachers weave critical life skills into academic subjects and find ways to touch and transform each child on the most profound levels. They are mentors, advocates, confidants and role models. They are proud architects of their curriculum who take on endless responsibilities – both in and out of the classroom.

Focusing on each student as an individual.
With small classes, MPA teachers can give their full attention to the individual needs of each student. All grades, PreK-12 are under one roof. As the years go by, each child becomes a familiar presence and is increasingly known by the faculty and entire school community. Within this environment, each student is seen, understood and appreciated as an individual. It’s an empowering energy that allows students to thrive, take risks, have opinions and always feel that they will be respected and supported.

A knack for uncovering passions
When our teachers discover a child’s passion or natural aptitude, they work to spark something that can last a lifetime. They are quick to perceive an uncovered talent, a promising ability or a curiosity that should be fueled.

“My MPA teachers challenged, encouraged and guided me as skillfully and passionately as my professors do now at Wellesley College.”

Asha Stenquist – Class of ‘05

High expectations and exceptional support.
At MPA,  teachers expect a lot from each child. They push in gentle ways, and encourage students of all ages to take responsibility for their academic journey. Our teachers help students prioritize and balance their responsibilities. They understand the pressures and stress of being a student and they help our children keep a healthy perspective.
