The Magazine Drive is the MPAPA’s major fundraiser. The PA works with QSP, a subsidiary of Reader’s Digest, to offer nearly 700 magazines at great savings over newsstand prices. Renew your favorite subscription or place a new order and MPA will receive 40% of every dollar spent. QSP also offers a wide variety of Music, Books, and CD-ROMs which can be purchased as part of this fundraiser with 40% going to MPA. MPA also participates in QSP’s gift items plan with up to 50% of every dollar spent going to our school.

There are two phases to this program, the Fall Drive and Ongoing Internet Sales.

Fall Drive

The Fall Magazine Drive kicks off shortly after the start of the school year. This phase gives students the opportunity to earn a variety of prizes for sales they make during the Drive’s designated timeframe.

Your student can use QSP’s Web site to send family and friends all of the information they need to place their Fall Drive orders via the internet in a customized email. This eliminates the need to fill out forms and allows payment by credit card. Go to www.qsp.com, click on “Register Now,” and follow the instructions. Once registered you will be given the option to send emails, shop, or view sales reports summarizing purchases made in response to emails sent using the site.
