Maintenance Manager
Mounds Park Academy is an independent, PreK-12, co-educational, college preparatory day school serving students from throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Mounds Park Academy is seeking candidates to fill a full-time (12 month) Maintenance Manager position. The Maintenance Manager reports to the Director of Business and Finance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Oversee the maintenance operation and grounds of the entire school
* Create and oversee the careful maintenance, repair and grounds programs that keep the school’s appearance in exemplary condition
* Prepare and maintain a balanced budget
* Plan for future projects, schedules, and ways to improve the building
* Oversee an on-going equipment replacement program
* Develop, maintain and report all required environmental, health and maintenance standards as required by law and to work with the administration to ensure compliance with all regional, state and federal regulations and laws as they impact the school.
* Supervise and develop grounds, security and summer employees; including coordinating schedules
* Arrange bids and develop specifications for all outside contractual work
* Oversee the work of all outside contractors to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and budgetary restrictions
* Participation in administrative meetings and committee groups
* Serve as staff support for the Facilities Committee of the Board of Trustees.
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Support the school and its leadership
Qualifications:
Minimum
5-10 years experience in a same or similar position
Supervisory experience
Boiler License
High school diploma
HVAC Experience
Preferred
2-4 year degree a plus
