Mason led the boys team to a 3rd place finish. He won the boys race by 30 seconds, lowering his own school record a few seconds along the way. Dylan tied his personal record. Erik improved his personal record by 17 seconds and moved up to 12th on the all time list. Des ran his best ever at Battle Creek. Chris was our 5th runner with a solid performance to seal the deal. Ben and Kethan rounded out our top 7 with good performances.
Our 6th grade contingent showed their stuff in the junior high race. Ethan led much of the second half of the race, but was outkicked by an 8th grader. William, John, and Ben finished bing, bang, boom, in 10th, 11th, and 12th places, only seconds apart. Some fine team running boys!
