eCommunications Guidelines
What
eCommunications was implemented at the start of the 2006 - 2007 school year at MPA to help keep our community connected and informed. This communication is in the form of an email that contains links to news pages for various areas within MPA, including the Parents Association. Other areas include Head of School, Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, Fine Arts, and Athletics.
Examples of Parents Association topics that have been suggested for this method of communication include grade social invitations, committee and other meeting information, community building opportunities, fundraising news and results, etc.
Who
A designated point person has been identified for each area of the school. This person is responsible for gathering the information their area would like to post using eCommunications. Sara Schmitt is the designated contact for the Parents Association; Andrea Yoch will be the back up contact.
When
The eCommunications email will be sent to all MPA families and employees once a week, on Thursdays. Archived information from previous weeks can be accessed via www.moundsparkacademy.org.
How
All Parents Association news and information must be sent electronically (either in the body of an email or as a Word attachment) to Amy Stoplestad by 9:00 am on Monday for inclusion in that week's eCommunication. Both text and photos are welcome, however, photos must be sent electronically as .jpg files.
