Endowments at Mounds Park Academy

Endowments are the "savings bank" for any non-profit institution. Mounds Park Academy is no different. The interests earned from endowment investments will provide guaranteed income for MPA in the years to come. Permanent Named Endowments at Mounds Park Academy

The Glen A. Taylor Endowment for Financial Aid

To provide financial aid support each year for qualified students with demonstrated financial need at Mounds Park Academy. This endowment recognizes Mr. Taylor's commitment and contributions to the field of education and his interest in assisting others in obtaining a high-quality education.

Endowment for the Children of Faculty

To provide financial aid supoprt to help children of faculty members attend Mounds Park Academy.

Matthew Gardner Endowment Fund

To provide financial aid each year for qualified students with demonstrated financial need at Mounds Park Academy. This endowment honors the memory of Matthew Truman Gardner, who attended Mounds Park Academy on opening day as a third grader until he graduated in 1992. It was his hope that Mounds Park Academy never become an elitist school. Priority for the award is given to first generation of children of immigrants.

Smith Family Endowment for Financial Aid

To provide financial aid each year for students with demonstarted financial need at Mounds Park Academy. This endowment honors the memory of Elmer & Jack Smith who believed that "each person needs the opportunity to be creative and to produce what they are capable of doing."

Robert S. Flotten Scholarship Fund

To provide support for development of faculty at Mounds Park Academy. This scholarship fund recognizes Robert S. Flotten, a founding board member of Mounds Park Academy.

Nicholson Family Scholarship Endowment

To provide scholarship support for one or more upper school students.
