Graduation Requirement: Three credits
Our goal is to assist in the development of students so that they may become scientifically literate persons. In doing so, we provide laboratory-based courses which concentrate upon scientific content, process skills, and the affective aspects of science education. - develop a richer, more satisfying and exciting view of the universe as a result of their science education.
- know and apply the appropriate science concepts, principles, and theories in interacting with their world.
- reinforce skills such as hypothesizing, predicting, interpreting, controlling variables and presenting results.
- use the processes of science in solving problems, making decisions, and furthering their understanding of the universe.
