Can you remember the most memorable events of your freshman year in college? Two weeks ago, I released in this space a video highligting our graduating seniors as they shared where they were headed for college and what they'd be studying. They were bursting with energy and excitement about the future. So what does it look like from the other end of that first year?

Readers may remember a posting from the beginning of this year when I asked Laurel Schwartz, MPA 2011, to write us about her experiences in her first year at Scripps. The result was the blog "Minnesota Girl in a California World" and you can read her latest entry here where she recounts her top ten most memorable moments, from "moving in" and "making dean's list" to "letting my friends die my hair" and "settling on a major".
