Pinwheels for Peace
In computer class this week, your students will be participating in a project called Pinwheels for Peace.
We will visit the Pinwheels for Peace website, and I will facilitate a short discussion on what peace means to them. The students will then create a pinwheel on the computer. There will be some time in the computer lab to decorate the pinwheels.
September 21st is the international Pinwheel for Peace Day. During recess on the 21st, we will plant (stick the pinwheels in the ground) the pinwheels (in a TBD destination).
