Disney Concert was Enjoyed by All

Disney-1.jpgIt started out as a concert performed for the Lower School by the Upper School orchestra, but it ended up being enjoyed by both the young and mature.  Thursday night, February 7th, the Upper School orchestra, under the direction of Rosa Glade Arnold, performed for the younger set.  You can tell from the pictures that there was a large crowd in attendance, and everyone found the night pleasant either because you were watching the youngsters bounce to the music or because you were remembering when you once had that much energy.

After the concert, the children were invited to come up and talk to the musicians and some even tried out an instrument or two.  It is one of the advantages of a Pre-K through 12 school. Our Lower School students are often enriched by the experiences provided by the older students.  I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to both Rosa and all the students who spent time learning and performing music they knew we would enjoy.  It was truly appreciated.
