I was able to stand in one place on Tuesday afternoon this week and see action on four different athletic playing fields.  When I stood just beyond the center field fence of our baseball diamond, I could look in four different directions and see Varsity track, baseball and tennis matches in progress, and softball practice under way.

Not every afternoon will feature that much activity, but spring is definitely here and with it, opportunities for MPA families to come out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while watching our athletes play.

Some of my sharpest memories from early school days involved watching the "big kids" play.  And at MPA, our little kids know and look up to our big kids because of the many opportunities we provide to bring them together.  So why not pick up an early dinner, bring a blanket and make a family outing of it?

Yes, you'll have to track the weather and be flexible, but it will all be worth it when your "little kid" watches one of her heroes play together with other MPA students in competition against other schools.  And to make it easier for you, click here to get access to all of the spring sports team schedules.

After this too-long winter with its April snowstorms, every hour under the warm sun is a gift.  So come out and cheer our Panthers on!
