Midpoint!

We're halfway through the school year and, though the days are a bit chilly, there's a new sense of optimism--some grade levels began new classes last week, and all Middle School students have restarted their classes with "clean slates."  As part of that halfway point, we have a few upcoming events that you will want to attend if possible.

On Thursday evening January 24th, the band has its annual winter concert, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Nicholson Center.  Just before that concert, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the downstairs choir room, Robbie Seum will be introducing herself and the Upper School program to all current 8th grade parents.  If you are the parent of a current 8th grader, try to attend this meeting!

This weekend, the Upper School Winter Show opens its two-weekend run of Thorton Wilder's Our Town.  These are invariably wonderful productions so mark it on your calendar (and call the school for tickets, as they tend to sell out).

Tuesday, January 29th the Middle School orchestra will have its annual winter concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Nicholson Center.

Enjoy this halfway point in the year, and I hope to see you around the school in the next week or so!
