"This day is second to only Christmas in our house."  "This is my sixth Grandparents and Special Friends Day and they just get better every time."  These are just two of the quotes that I heard from grandparents on Grandparents and Special Friends Day.

"It was just awesome."  "It was amazing."  These are just two of the quotes that I heard from MPA teachers on Grandparents and Special Friends Day.

As I mentioned at the opening ceremony, MPA is a community of learners and this was another opportunity for us to celebrate and share our learning with others.  As my Grandma Stella says, "You are never to old to learn something new!"  

Special Notes:
Poinsettia and wreath orders are due on Monday, October 20.

Picture retakes will take place next Thursday, October 23.  If your child was absent or would like his/her picture retaken, forms are in the Middle School Office.  There are no additional charges if a family did not like the original picture--just have the child bring back the unwanted images

Eighth grade parents:  There will be a mime show performance on Tuesday, October 28, in the Black Box for Section 8A at 9:50 a.m. and Section 8B at 1:45 p.m.  Please ask your student which section they are in that day.
