Whether you are a new family or a returning family of an MPA student, there is always that excitement surrounding back to school night and the first day of school at MPA. By now, both of those events have occurred and hopefully your student or students have found their classroom, opened their lockers and settled into something of a routine. Well, it is a hopeful thought!
On top of all of this, there will be the music, drama, art, sports and, for some, even drivers education! It would be a lengthy task to delineate all the life-enriching activities of MPA students so we will stop here.
As members of the Board of the MPAPA, we watch and support our children through these aspects of their lives just as you do. We feel confident in saying that we have all enrolled our children at MPA because we want only the best for our children; to see them enjoy the enrichment that MPA provides. The MPAPA can offer you an additional opportunity – to further enrich your lives by participating in the community building and fundraising activities supported by the Parents Association.
So, from five people that normally aren’t so long-winded, we are inviting you to participate and volunteer in the MPAPA. What isn’t long-winded is that you will be enriched with additional participation through the MPAPA. We are currently in need of people to help with the following activities and positions for the 2007-2008 school year:
* Grade Representatives for Grades Pre-K, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 click here
* Division Chairs to coordinate PA meetings and events for Middle and
* Homecoming Fun Run Assistants
* Recycled Treasures Coordinator and Assistants click here
* Magazine Drive Coordinator and Assistants click here
* Assistants for the Poinsettia and Spring Flower Sales
There are also opportunities to be involved in the Book Festival and to join and participate on the Communications,
Your level of participation can be in tune with your other obligations. You may also participate through your presence at your division meetings, grade socials and activities, and at the All School Meetings. Please click here to contact us and learn about our organization and how you can become enriched. A schedule of meetings for the school year is available here.
