I want to encourage all faculty and staff to consider applying for a Parent Association grant during the next cycle that will occur in January. The specific schedule is as follows:
Call for Grants: January 14, 2008
Due Date for Grant Applications: February 11, 2008
Grand Award Date: March 10, 2008
Everyone will receive a copy of the application and instructions in their mailbox by January 14th. I am excited to let you know that due to the success of our Parents Association fundraising efforts, $10,000 will be available for this second round of grants!
During the first round of the grant program, we made the following awards:
1. $5,000 to Karen Rossbach for updated equipment and supplies for the photography program.
2. $1,127 to Susan Samuelson for the 9th grade health program.
