On behalf of the MPA Parents Association, I'd like to welcome both the new and the returning families back to MPA for another extraordinary year!  My name is Lori Tapani, and I'll be a Co-President of the Parents Association along with my sister, Traci Tapani, for this school year.  We're excited about our role in supporting the mission of MPA, connecting with families, supporting the MPA faculty, fundraising to provide "extra enrichment" to our children, and creating a fun and vibrant parent community!

There are many opportunities for parents to become involved in the Parents Association depending on your time and talents.  Please contact one of us if you would like to discuss the opportunities available, or if you'd just like to get a better idea of what the Parents Association is all about.  We are currently looking for someone to work with us on the Parents Association Board as Secretary/eCommunications Coordinator.

Today is the beginning of the Parents Association's largest fundraiser ---The Magazine Drive.  For the past two years, profits earned from PA fundraisers have funded the Grant Program which is available to all faculty and staff at MPA. Last year, approximately $27,000 was distributed to grant recipients from all divisions.  Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this program such a success.
