The Parents Association is pleased to announce the following awardees for the first cycle of grants for the 2008-2009 academic year:

Courtney Nagle - $2,754 for six micro laptops
Jeff Clear - $1,000 for computer projector and cart
Lorraine Anderson and Diane Yanchek - $390 for attendance at a Best Practices preschool conference
Marisue Gleason - $1,505 for attendance at the ACTFL conference
Nancy Lage and Kris Vick - attendance at the Librarian and Library Aide conference
Wade Peterson - $900 for two standard systems for Quiz Bowl

Funding for the above initiatives is the proceeds from the Magazine Drive.  Thanks to all families who purchased magazines this fall!  You can still purchase magazines, gifts and wrapping paper at this site.  Consider a magazine as a holiday gift.  All proceeds will be used to support future teacher and staff projects.

The call for the next cycle of grant applications will go out January 12, 2009.  We look forward to more fine applications.
