The MPA MATHCOUNTS team finished second at the North Capitol chapter competition qualifying them to participate in the state competition in March 2010. About 90 students on 14 teams competed. MPA MATHCOUNTS team members placed well: Nick G., 3rd individually and 2nd in the Countdown Round; Matt E., 7th; Katie K., 10th; and, Marisa R., 15th.
