Like all independent schools, Mounds Park Academy is self-supporting – we do not receive state funding, nor are we supported by tax dollars. We meet our operating budget through revenues from tuition, special gifts, and most importantly, the Annual Fund. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide resources to meet the highest priority needs of the school and our students - everything from classroom supplies and teacher salaries to building maintenance and financial aid. The 2007-08 Annual Fund goal is $525,000 and we are counting on the entire MPA community to reach it.

Did you know that tuition covers only about 90% of the cost of educating a student at Mounds Park Academy? The Annual Fund bridge that gap of about $1,200 per student and ensures that we are able to continue providing our students with an exceptional and well-rounded education for which MPA is noted. All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax deductible.
