MPA Concert Choir Performs on May 11th
The MPA Concert Choir and the Oratorio Society of MN have been in collaboration the past year. Within the last week, Artistic Director George Chu, Associate Director Greg Douma, and Composer Elizabeth Alexander worked with the choir in preparation for an upcoming concert. Ms. Alexander gave us a unique look into her compositional process as we prepared her piece Do Not Leave Your Cares at the Door. The joint program entitled “Spring Bouquet: A colorful arrangement of choral music!” will be on Friday, May 11th at First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights. Ticket information will be available next week.
