The Fall Upper School Vocal Concert is tonight, Thursday, November 15th at 7:30 p.m.  The concert will feature the Men’s Chorale, Women’s Chorale, Jazz Choir, Chamber Choir, and Concert Choir singing a wide variety of music.  You will not want to miss the haunting melody of “Shule Agrah,” the lyricism of “Loch Lomond” or the stunning closer that juxtaposes a European melody with a South African Freedom song.  All of the different sounds and colors will be a feast for your ears! 

All choir members are called at 6:00 p.m. for pictures, warm-ups and last-minute instructions.  Doors to the Nicholson Center will open to the public at 7:10 p.m.

Concert Attire
Men’s Chorale members need a white dress shirt with a collar, a colorful tie, black dress pants, black socks and dress shoes, and a black belt.   Women’s Chorale members need black pants and a long-sleeved black blouse.  No scooped neck or sleeveless blouses.  Please wear neutral nylons, black dress shoes, low heels or flats.  No platform shoes or open-toed shoes.  Concert and Chamber Choir men will wear blue robes, white collars, black dress pants, black socks and black shoes.  Tennis shoes and brown dress shoes are not allowed.  Concert and Chamber Choir women will wear blue robes, a long-sleeved black blouse, black dress pants and plain black flats or low heels.  Jewelry and make-up should be discrete and kept to a minimum. Concert dress and appearance are components of the overall grade.
