Last June, parent surveys were mailed home to every student enrolled in the upper school. The parent survey topics included: communication from teachers, communication from the school, and communication from administration, Power School, and parent meetings. Attached is an overview of the findings. Additionally, findings were discussed with faculty at the August and September division meetings. As a result of these meetings, areas in need of further review have been identified and discussed, with a focus on an action plan to respond to these results. You can check out the results of the suvey by clicking here.
Book Orders - Please be sure that students order their quarter two books before Tuesday, October 31, the start of quarter two.
A special note to parents of sophomores and juniors:
The PSAT will be administered at MPA to all sophomores and juniors on Wednesday morning, October 18. The test begins at 8:30 a.m. -- please be certain that your son/daughter arrives at school on time. All students are required to bring their own pencils and calculators to the test. In order to help prepare students for the test, our college counseling department met with all the students this week in their science classes. Everyone received a helpful Official Student Guide to the PSAT and a sample practice test. If you have any questions about the PSAT, please contact our Director of College Counseling Phil Trout.
