Attendance Policy - For those new to the Upper School, please be aware that if a student needs to leave class for any appointment or will be arriving late, we need a call or a note from a parent (preferably before school begins).  Students need to sign in and out in the Upper School office when arriving late or leaving early.  We also need a call from you if your child is sick or will be visiting a college or away from campus for any reason for the full day.  Thank you for your help with this important policy.

On Tuesday, October 24th, the National College Fair will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m.  Over 400 colleges and universities from throughout the Midwest and all across the country will be represented.  Students are encouraged to stop by the college counseling office at MPA to pick up the informational brochure, which lists the colleges and universities in attendance.  This event is free.

The Class of 2007 will participate in the annual senior retreat held Friday, October 27th at Camp St. Croix.  Retreat activities include participating in the camp's adventure climbing courses, reflecting on the senior year.  In addition, several plays written by students in Richard Meacock's creative writing class will be presented to the entire class.  Each senior must have their signed permission and health forms in before Friday's retreat.

Senior Performances are October 25th at 12:35 p.m. in the Recital Hall.

NO CLASSES - Monday, October 30.

Quarter Two classes begin Tuesday, October 31.  Students should have all their textbooks before classes begin.
