Junior Parents - Mark your calendars for Monday night, January 22, 2007, for the Junior Parent College Counseling Program, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall. Snacks and refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., hosted by Phil Trout and Julie Endersbe in the College Counseling office. The featured speaker for the evening will be Mr. Tom Willoughby, Vice Chancellor for Enrollment at the University of Denver. He will share a national perspective on college admission and offer tips and advice to parents. With over 25 years in college admission, Mr. Willoughby brings a wealth of experience and resources -- and he's an engaging speaker!! Parents will be introduced to Family Connection, a web-based college counseling program that MPA students and parents will use throughout the college search process. Note: This program is for parents only. Separate meetings will be held in January with the juniors, in advance of their individual appointments with Mr. Trout, which begin in February.
On Friday, December 15th, all sophomores and juniors will receive their PSAT scores. The packet includes their test, individual answers and comparative information about their scores. If your student is not here on Friday, we will send the materials home over break. If you have any questions, please contact Phil Trout or Julie Endersbe in the College Counseling office.
The Upper School office will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2006 through Monday, January 1, 2007. We hope everyone has a restful winter break. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
Quarter 2 ends Friday, January 12, 2007. School will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2007, celebrating Martin Luther King Day.
Have a safe, warm, and restful winter break!
