Even after years of using computers, do you feel like the technology information gap is growing wider between you and your son or daughter? Are the challenges of technology outweighing the advantages of the tool? If you would like some answers and suggestions about how to become more “tech savvy,” I encourage you to visit a link on the MPA website created by Theresa Reardon Offerman, our US Academic Technology Coordinator. This site was developed to help parents and teachers learn more about issues around technology and to support adults as they work with students on appropriate use of computers and the internet. Theresa offers helpful information on everything from internet safety, gender issues, educational issues, and MPA laptop policies. Theresa will continue to post more articles and ideas over the coming months. If you would like information on a particular topic, please email Theresa at tro@moundsparkacademy.org.
