Congratulations to the following art students whose work has been selected to be part of the 3rd Annual Shattuck-St. Mary's Invitational Art Exhibition!

Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault is hosting the exhibition, which includes 30 pieces of artwork from several surrounding high schools.  Work was selected by juror Joel Cole and will be on display at Shattuck-St. Mary's for a month.  An opening reception will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m.   The work of these students will represent MPA well in this event!

National Honor Society Members Selected

The National Honor Society was founded in order to recognize outstanding academic achievement, leadership, service, and character.  This year eleven seniors were inducted into the society at a ceremony held on October 23.  MPA is proud to announce the following new members of our school’s NHS chapter:   Elin Beck, Sam Bolstad, Andrew Bream, Nancy Dietman, Katherine Gherty, Christine Hansen, Isaac Muscanto, Nicholas Neumann-Chun, Vance Ryan, Logan Sand, and Dan Short.

What’s happening in the Upper School:

End of Quarter One:  Quarter one ends this Friday, October 26th.  Quarter two begins on Tuesday, October 30th.  There is no school on Monday, October 29th.  First quarter grades and comments will be posted and available on Power School at the end of the school day on Tuesday, November 6th.
