Congratulations to eleventh grader, Annie Bigalke, for her essay regarding the life of Prisoners of War for the "Behind Barbed Wire" essay contest for the American Ex-Prisoners of War.  The essay contest is an opportunity for high school and middle school students to learn and express their ideas about the experiences of the Prisoners of War.  In Annie's essay, she included her thoughts of her grandfather's experience marching as a prisoner through Germany.  Annie received 2nd place, as well as a $500 scholarship.
