Fall is a busy time for College Counseling!  The following information provides details about college representatives visiting MPA (open to Seniors and Juniors), and also a schedule of college fairs that will be held in the Twin Cities area this fall.  (Attendance strongly suggested for Juniors and Seniors, and a wonderful option for any student or family interested in beginning to explore college possibilities.)  The college fair schedule is available as a handout in the College Counseling Office and the Upper School Office and will also be posted on the College Counseling section of the MPA web site.

Representatives from the following colleges will be visiting MPA in the next two weeks. Specific dates and times are noted in Family Connection, along with a current list of those colleges that, so far, have made appointments to visit MPA this fall.  Interested students may attend if they have first received permission from the teacher of the class they will miss or if they have a free period during the time of the visit.

University of Denver (CO)
University of Puget Sound (WA)

Seniors and parents can find the college rep visit list (and students can sign up to attend) by clicking on "Visit Schedule," found under the "About College" section of the Family Connection site.  Seniors will also receive e-mail reminders about visits from any college listed in their Prospective Colleges list in Family Connection.

Juniors can check the lists posted in College Counseling and Ms. Anderson's classroom, and monitor the posters and reminder signs in the Commons.  Juniors and parents will also be receiving their Family Connection logins in the next two weeks so that they also can view the schedule as it is updated online.
