On the girls side, our relays made a statement. MPA girls placed first in the 4x800m with a time of 10:43.5. The team of Junior Gabby Law, ninth graders Izzy Quam and Katie Dahiya, and seventh grader Margo N. ran almost a minute faster than any other team. The 4x200m team of senior Maya Sayers, junior Ellie Quam, sophomore Catherine Moore, and ninth grader Izzy Quam, placed second with a time of 1:51.9, good for a spot on the MSHSL honor roll and fifth best all-time at MPA. The 4x100m team of seniors Maya Sayers and Quinn Campbell and sophomores Aaliyah Kellogg and Catherine Moore finished third with a time of 54.0.

On the boys side, the 4x800m team of senior Declan Dahlberg, juniors Tanner Kozen and Matt Bourne, and sophomore Henry Snider, placed first with a season best of 8:51.7.  The boys 4x200m of juniors Flynn Opatz, Tae’Vion Wilkins, and Ian Olson, and sophomore Nathan Harvanko, placed second, running a season best time of 1:35.8, good for a spot on the MSHSL honor roll and third best all-time at MPA. In the 1600m, we were led by our outstanding eighth graders, Isak N., who finished in 4:55.5, and Cullen M., who finished third in 5:04.0. In the 800m, sophomore Henry Snider placed first in a time of 2:13.5, while junior Henry Peterson placed third in a time of 2:18.5. In the high jump, sophomore Quincy Lewis recorded a personal best jump, clearing 5 feet for first time and celebrating in style!
