Her time of 13.40 places her fourth\u00a0all time in MPA history in the girls 100m dash and is the fastest 100m dash by an MPA girl since 2002!\u00a0 Zoe also added a seventh\u00a0place finish in the 200m, just off the top 10 in a time of 28.27. Eighth\u00a0grader Greta M. finished eighth in the 200m with a similarly impressive time of 28.35.<\/p>\n<p>In the 400m, Greta M. ran to a fourth\u00a0place finish, crossing the line in 1:03.56, sixth\u00a0best all time in MPA history and the fastest since 2007! Senior Sofia Walker, making her track and field debut, finish seventh\u00a0in the 400m, with a time of 1:05.43, just .12 seconds outside the 400m top 10 all time. In the 800m run, Sophomore Izzy Quam ran a strong debut of 2:40.32 to place third.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the 3200m run, Sophomore Katie Dahiya ran to a fourth\u00a0place finish in 12:52.27, running a personal best, and finishing just two seconds from the top 10 all-time list. Scoring in the field events, Greta M. placed seventh\u00a0in the long jump, jumping 13\u20199. Junior Cecilia Driano competed in the shot put, recording a distance of 26\u20190, good for 10th\u00a0all time at MPA and the furthest MPA girls throw since 2013.<\/p>\n<p>On the boys&#8217; side, notable finishes included Senior Tae\u2019Vion Wilkins, who placed sixth\u00a0in the 100m dash with a personal best time of 11.76, placing him sixth\u00a0all time at MPA. His time is the fastest 100m at MPA since 2006! Junior Henry Snider won the 1600m in 4:45.59 and placed fourth\u00a0in the 800m in 2:15.37. Ninth grader Cullen Moore was fifth\u00a0in the 800m in 2:16.71. Senior Matthew Bourne was the runner up in the 3200m in 10:23.08, earning a spot on the MSHSL honor roll. Sophomore Peter Manolis also scored in the 3200m, running 11:09.23 for fifth\u00a0place. Senior Dylan Dickinson scored in both the 110m high hurdles, placing eighth, and the 300m hurdles, also placing eighth.<\/p>\n<p>In the field events, Senior Yahya Madar won the high jump with an outdoor debut of 6\u20194, making the MSHSL honor roll. In the long jump, Junior Kailil Schertzing tied for fifth\u00a0with a personal best of 18\u20196, good for ninth\u00a0best all time at MPA. In the triple jump, Senior Tae\u2019Vion Wilkins placed fifth\u00a0in 37\u20198.<\/p>\n<p>Both the boys and girls teams finished in sixth\u00a0place of eight teams.
