In what grade did you come to MPA? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I came to MPA in 10th grade.<\/p>\n

How did you come to choose the college that you did?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My cousin previously attended St. Olaf, and it really caught my eye. I also liked the fact that it’s a small school where there are smaller class sizes.<\/p>\n

What are you most excited about as you embark on your college experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am mostly excited for the people and connections I will make in college.<\/p>\n

What did you appreciate most about the college counseling process at MPA?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I appreciate the support that I was given. Without the help of the counselor(s), I believe I wouldn’t have gotten into the schools that I applied to.<\/p>\n

What about your MPA experience has best prepared you for college?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think what has best prepared me for college was the social aspect of MPA. As a transfer student, it was difficult for me to fit into a community that was unknown. And I learned how to navigate and converse with people who I wouldn’t normally have a connection with.<\/p>\n

What is your advice for MPA’s Class of 2032 (kindergartners)?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My advice for the class of 2032 is that there is someone that is always struggling more than you. Be thankful for the things you have and are given. And that a simple “thank you” can go a long way.<\/p>\n
