Srsen passed the threshold of 1,303 during the Panthers contest versus United Christian Academy on Tuesday, February 25.<\/p>\n<p>Now sitting alone at the top of the MPA boys scoring list, Wyatt took a second to reflect on what the accomplishment signifies to him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe scoring record means a lot to me, but it\u2019s just a small fraction of what basketball truly means to me and how it has shaped me as both a player and a leader,&#8221; Wyatt said. &#8220;It stands as a testament to all the hard work I\u2019ve put in over the past four years. I wouldn\u2019t be here without the support of my family, teammates, and coaches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The new record holder passed former teammate Micah Hudock &#8217;24, who broke the record last season. Hudock\u2019s total of 1,303 surpassed the previous high-water mark held by current coach Brendan Connolly &#8217;17.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt will have a couple more opportunities to build upon his current record, as the team ends the regular season on Friday before heading into the section playoffs.
