Tenth grade takes an annual trip to Deep Portage.<\/h2>\n<p>Every year the sophomore class gets to go to Deep Portage together. It was so fun riding the bus and doing activities while getting to know my grade a bit better.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"blue\">2. Creativity is encouraged.<\/h2>\n<p>In concert choir, we do a competition between sections where our section leaders take a popular song, change the lyrics to make them choir-related, and then we perform for a panel of faculty judges. This year my section (the altos) won, which was exciting.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"blue\">3. MPA has a variety of offerings.<\/h2>\n<p>MPA offers lots of different art classes. Personally, as someone who loves art, it is really cool to try things I\u2019ve never done before like ceramics. <!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"blue\">4. There are fun ways to get involved.<\/h2>\n<p>Clubs are a fun way for students to get involved. This year, I\u2019m a part of the student ambassador leadership team, which allows me to help share my MPA experience with new families during panels or events.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"blue\">5. You can pursue your passions.<\/h2>\n<p>I\u2019m not an actor, but MPA offers classes and after-school opportunities to do tech for the theater department.
