From what school\/organization are you coming?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nI am coming from Skyview Middle School in ISD 622.<\/p>\n

Tell us about your education and past experience.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nI have a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration and a master\u2019s degree in nursing. I maintain several licenses and certifications relevant to school nursing, including a school nurse license, a public health nursing license, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). I have previous healthcare experience working for District 622, Twin Cities Orthopedics, and Davita Kidney Care.<\/p>\n

What did you find appealing about MPA?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nMPA stands out as a supportive community where students succeed and thrive. Each student is valued for their own unique talents, and it\u2019s evident how supportive students are of their peers. MPA is a place where people truly care about one another.
\n<\/p>\n

What lasting impact do you plan to have on MPA and its students?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nI want students and families to know I am here to support them in any way that I can, and I will meet you where you are at without judgment. I want students to feel safe and supported at school with any health concerns, including physical, mental, and emotional health.<\/p>\n

What’s your big dream?<\/strong>
\nI’ve always wanted to live somewhere warm by a beach. I also want to someday go back to school to get my doctoral degree.<\/p>\n

What are you and your family passionate about?\u00a0<\/strong>
\nMy family is passionate about rescuing dogs, especially German Shepherds. We have adopted several over the years. Working with “Saving Shepherds of Minnesota” opened my eyes to the crisis of neglected and homeless dogs, particularly in the south. All dogs deserve a good life and a loving home.<\/p>\n

What’s a fun fact about you that our community would love to know?<\/strong>
