In this issue of Inside MPA, we\u2019re checking in with Jennifer Jasinski, Early Childhood Program and Admission Manager, as she shares what\u2019s ahead for MPA\u2019s Early Childhood program, the power of belonging, and how the community helps new families feel at home from the very beginning. Whether you\u2019re exploring schools for the first time or preparing to visit campus, you\u2019ll find thoughtful insights into what makes the MPA experience so special.<\/p>\n

What excites you most about the upcoming school year?<\/strong>
\nI am incredibly excited about the expansion of our Early Childhood program! With construction underway and a lot of thoughtful planning happening behind the scenes, we are well on our way to welcoming more young learners to MPA.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s one way the MPA community supports new families and students?<\/strong>
\nSupporting new families is at the heart of what we do. We know how much it matters to have a strong support network, both within the school community and beyond the classroom. That’s why we offer multiple opportunities to connect with other families before the school year even begins. Our goal is simple: every student and family should walk into school on the first day recognizing familiar faces and feeling truly at home.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your MPA Moment?<\/strong>
\nI have so many special memories, but my favorite MPA moment this year was one a parent shared with me. After spending time learning about friendship and community in the PreK classroom, a student told her parent how excited she was for school the next day, exclaiming, “I love my community!” It’s a great reminder that children are always listening, and they retain so much more than we realize. When we make sure they know they belong to a community that loves and values them, we create an environment where they can truly thrive.<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to a family that’s considering joining MPA?<\/strong>
\nI would recommend talking with other families who have been through the process. They likely had similar questions about the transition to MPA. Hearing about their firsthand experience will give you valuable insight about what to expect, and you\u2019ll meet some wonderful people that way!<\/p>\n
