Boys and Girls Track


The MPA Track & Field program aids student-athletes in realizing their athletic potential through their participation in event specific training combined with enjoyable activities and team comradery. Athletes are guided in setting appropriate personal goals and make progress towards those goals in the many individual and relay events of track and field. Goals range from working on their speed and strength in the off season from another sport, to showing improvement towards becoming a varsity athlete, to becoming a member of a successful relay team, to reaching a Top Ten ever performance at MPA, and finally, to earning All-Conference, State qualifying and All-State honors. The athletes learn to be responsible, hard-working, resilient and inclusive team members who become role models for many as they balance their academic and athletic pursuits with success.
