Admission Process

Welcome to Mounds Park Academy! The admission process is made up of a series of steps that will help us get to know students who are considering Mounds Park Academy. We also encourage families to join us on campus for a variety of events throughout the year as that is the best way to learn about all of the wonderful opportunities we have to offer. Please pay particular attention to our Priority Admission and Financial Aid Application Deadlines. New students who apply by these deadlines will receive the greatest consideration for both admission and/or financial assistance. Grades 1 - 4

Whenever possible, core academic teachers should complete the recommendation forms.

Individuals writing recommendations are asked to return the forms directly to the Office of Admission via fax, mail, or email. If multiple core academic recommendation letters are not available (e.g. Montessori school students or early childhood learners with only one teacher), please ask one adult who is not a relative but knows the applicant well (e.g. music instructor, coach, religious education instructor, children’s activity coordinator, etc.) to complete and submit the recommendation form. These forms are held in the strictest confidence and will be used in the admission process only and will not be part of the applicant's permanent academic file nor shared with the parents/guardians or applicant. These recommendation forms should be submitted to the MPA Office of Admission by the appropriate deadline.

Grades 5-10 applicants, please note: one recommendation must be completed by a current math teacher, for placement purposes only.
