Mid-year STARTS
Welcome home! In grades where space is available, Mounds Park Academy warmly considers admission applications for mid-year transfer students who are academically strong and motivated. Mid-year entry into a rigorous college-preparatory environment can be challenging and we seek students who will navigate that transition well.
With any mid-year transfer, there are many moving parts as students transition their academic and social lives somewhere new, sometimes on short notice, and we are here to help whenever possible. We work hard to make the process as seamless as possible, ensuring that the student and the family find a new home. Virtual tours are available for families who are relocating domestically or internationally.

The start date will be determined based on conversations with the Office of Admission and the Lower School leadership and will most likely be at the beginning of a new trimester. Tuition will be prorated based on the start date. Indexed Tuition is not available for mid-year starts.

A new student starting in the middle of the year, and their family, will determine their start date based on conversations with the Upper School office. The Upper School schedule at Mounds Park Academy is divided into four quarters, and start dates typically align with the start of a quarter. Tuition will be prorated based on a new student’s start date. Please note: All transfer students in grades nine through 12 who do not have a change of address are subject to the MSHSL transfer rule that limits competition at the varsity level for one calendar year from the date of enrollment.
