We know that the world is facing extreme uncertainty right now. We also know the education of our students cannot wait and that is why we quickly implemented virtual learning at MPA. Now, we need your help not only to ensure the crucial resources are available to continue to support every student, but also to create a community care fund in support of families, students, and faculty and staff who may be particularly in need because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We need you now more than ever to ensure every student and staff member has what they need to dream big, do right, and light up the world.

Thanks to our community, we have gotten a jump start on our Community Care Fund by raising $92,875 during the MPA Virtual Spring Auction, which includes a $20,000 challenge gift because the community reached $70,000! These flexible funds will allow us to respond to emerging needs, including:

  • financial assistance for MPA families in need;
  • employee support funds for wellness and emergency resources;
  • the cost of additional supplies to ensure a whole child education can continue, including art supplies, books and e-books, software and hardware, and devices for families and teachers without access to adequate technology or wi-fi for virtual learning; and
  • support for expenses for college in the fall for graduating seniors.
