Mounds Park Academy families hail from 82 different zip codes throughout the greater Twin Cities region. Many families find the commute convenient on their way to and from the cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. Other families collaborate and carpool on a regular or semi-regular basis from a variety of suburbs including Lino Lakes, Apple Valley, and Roseville.

MPA Buses
In addition, MPA offers extensive bus services that parents with students of all ages take advantage of. Four MPA bus routes are being offered for the 2023-24 school year under a group stop model. They serve the following metropolitan areas: South Minneapolis, Woodbury, North Oaks, Roseville, and St. Paul. MPA provides extra care, especially for younger students, to ensure that every student boards the correct bus safely. In addition, bus drivers do not leave a bus stop until all children are picked up by parents in the afternoon.

District 622 Buses
MPA students who live within the boundaries of Independent School District 622 (North St. Paul/Maplewood/Oakdale) are eligible for free bus service to MPA. These routes are planned by District 622.

Transportation Reimbursement for Families
Many public school districts offer some travel reimbursement to families who live in their district but who are not attending local public schools. The amount and terms of the reimbursement vary from district to district. Each family should contact the local school district for further information about these reimbursements.
