| PreK–12 MPA Preview and Taste Of Ninth Grade | |
PreK–12 MPA PreviewThe PreK–12 MPA Preview is a signature admission event designed to introduce families with children of all ages to the people, programs, and spirit that make Mounds Park Academy such a special place to learn and grow. Families will hear from school leaders, connect with faculty and current parents, and engage in meaningful conversation about what distinguishes an MPA education. A highlight of the event is a student-led tour of campus, offering a look at daily life at MPA through the eyes of the students themselves. Guests will also explore signature MPA experiences led by teachers. By the end of the afternoon, families leave with a deeper understanding of the MPA community and the educational philosophy that guides our work with students from PreK through grade 12. Taste of Ninth GradeThe Taste of Ninth Grade is a special pre-event designed for students and families considering entry into MPA’s Upper School. This program offers an early look at the distinctive ninth-grade experience and the transition into our vibrant Upper School community. Students will participate in a collaborative, hands-on academic activity that reflects the kind of inquiry-based learning that defines MPA classrooms. At the same time, parents will gather with members of the MPA community for an open conversation about the ninth-grade program, Upper School life, and the opportunities available to students as they begin their high school journey. The event concludes with lunch together before families transition into the broader PreK–12 MPA Preview program. Calendar Of Events

| Welcome and Wonder Admission Series | |
|
The Welcome and Wonder Admission Series offers prospective families the opportunity to explore key aspects of the MPA experience through thoughtful conversations with our educators and school leaders. Each session highlights a topic that is central to student growth and development—from early childhood learning and social-emotional development to executive functioning, STEAM exploration, and college counseling. Designed as smaller, topic-focused gatherings, Welcome and Wonder events allows families to engage more deeply with the ideas, programs, and philosophies that shape an MPA education. After each discussion, guests will enjoy a student-led tour of campus, offering a firsthand look at learning in action and daily life at Mounds Park Academy. Whether you are just beginning your school search or looking to understand a particular stage of your child’s development, Panther Perspectives provides a meaningful way to experience the MPA community and the thinking behind our PreK–12 program.
