I student taught at Roosevelt High School from September 2025 to May 2026. I substituted for a math teacher at Mounds View High School for 3 weeks at the end of the school year.
What did you find appealing about MPA?
The environment of MPA, the way the school cared about its students, and the helpfulness of staffulty. The smaller class size also helps me focus on each individual student and support them in achieving their goals.
What lasting impact do you plan to have on MPA and its students?
I want to help my students develop an interest in math and build problem-solving skills that will benefit them in their everyday lives.
What’s your big dream?
My big dream is to become an outstanding teacher who can help every student achieve their ultimate goal.
What are you passionate about?
I'm very passionate about learning the "why" behind everything rather than just learning "how" to do things. This is what I'm going to focus on when I'm teaching my math lessons.
What’s a fun fact about you that our community would love to know?
I speak fluent Mandarin Chinese.
