In the event the school will be unexpectedly closed for weather, it will be announced through radio and television, on MPA’s website at www.moundsparkacademy.org, and via email, phone call, and text message. Decisions on weather closing will be made as close to 6:30 a.m. as possible, with the stations being informed as soon after that as possible. The decision regarding weather emergency closing is usually based on the bus company’s recommendation.

In the event the school will be unexpectedly closed for another reason (power failure, water problems, etc.) families will be alerted via email, phone call, and text message.
