The Spirit Committee gathered yesterday to celebrate the contributions of long-time members, and senior parents, Kathy Bourne and Kathi Peterson. After many years of dedication to the Spirit Committee they bid a fond farewell with their seniors and leave MPA Athletics stronger than ever. Mounds Park Academy would like to sincerely thank them for their many hours of volunteer service and incredible contributions through the years.

The purpose of the MPA Spirit Committee is to support and promote all athletic activities at Mounds Park Academy by uniting students, parents, coaches, faculty, staff, and alums in a way that enhances the sharing of school spirit. The MPA Spirit Committee meets monthly to discuss, organize, and help facilitate three major events:
- Homecoming in the fall
- Spirit Night in the winter
- Spring showcase in the spring
The MPA Spirit Committee raises funds through concession stand profits. These profits are managed by the Spirit Committee and are used to enhance the three yearly events as well as the students athletic experience.
