The PreK-12 MPA Preview on November 9, 12:30-2 PM, is a signature PreK-12 event designed to introduce prospective families to the faculty, students, and families who make MPA the exceptional learning community it is. You’ll hear from a variety of perspectives, engage in conversation with academic leaders, participate in experiences led by expert teachers, and leave with a much better understanding of the MPA way.

Belay on! The MPA climbing wall is open to all skill levels and ages. With MPA physical education teachers as your guides, you’ll receive tips and support to reach new heights.
New Year’s Eve a la Latina
Recommended for Lower and Middle School
Experience celebrating New Year’s Eve the Latin American way. Learn the vocabulary involved in these celebrations and traditions and re-enact one of them!
Together, We Sing!
Recommended for Middle School
In this session, students will learn what it is like to sing in choir at MPA. Students will go through a typical choral class – including warmups, learning about how to read music, and learning to sing a brand new song.
Coding With Sphero
Recommended for Middle and Upper School
Explore block coding, navigate an obstacle course, and experiment with functions and variables using Sphero Bolt+ robots. This activity is a student favorite during MPA’s Hour of Code Week.
Computer Science And The Makerspace
Recommended for Middle and Upper School
Beta test and give your feedback on games made by MPA Upper School computer science students! This lesson taught students game design, allowing them to code their own arcade-style video game and controllers.
